Encroachment Policy and Procedures

The City of Kyle passed an ordinance on August 4, 2020 adopting an administrative permitting process for authorizing encroachments in the right-of-way and city easements in order to give businesses the ability to expand their outdoor seating to City-owned parking spaces, sidewalks and right-of-ways during COVID-19. 

All sidewalk cafes installed on a City sidewalks and other areas of the public right-of-way, require either a permit or a license agreement from the City.
